head, porting, and pipe...

your can is likely doing nothing for you so if you want a can, get one that attaches to an aftermarket pipe like SLP or HotSeat...

call Legend Performance, Union Bay, RK Tek and get a good head, these same guys also do good port work...

spend time on your clutching, bang for the buck it is the largest improvement you can make...

there is always the big bore route as well...

Yes work on the clutching.
Through the Team secondary under the work bench (that is were my Team is), install an older Poo button clutch with a 52-38X helix, much quicker & faster.
HSP clutching components, 66 grm wts ground down to 63.5 grm, 52-38X helix and etc.
Stock engine 440 mains change to 420 mains with gutted air box, at 1640 feet in Wisc., 10 deg F.

On my 03 700c SKS I installed a LRM pipe (LRM only pipe designed for a 700cc Poo), SLP can, HSP heads, VF-3 reeds, reed spacers, SLP flow rights, SLP high flow air box kit, Holtzman carb temp compensator, extra 650 Poo running board heat exchanger, removed thermostat, big wheel kit and etc.
Now running 440 mains, 45 pilots and needle pinned in the middle.

I smoked a new 2003 F7, 06 Ski-Doo 800 HO Power Tech and four little 600cc Poo HO's a few weeks back, ign switch was set in the low octain 2 degree retard mode for a long two mile lake race.
Good Luck, just takes a little tunning time; Rich :fluffy: :fluffy:
