I saw something on here last night, under another topic that said they were setting up an LZ for AeroMed to land. Someone was taken to Grand Rapids...

We talked to the guys buddy that was there, he said his friend hit a mogul and bit it pretty hard, i guess he ended up breaking all his ribs and couldn't breath.

Everybody was saying it was a sledder & then one of the locals talked to the fireman & they said some guy from East Jordan fell off his roof on his head.

There is a place on the Bear/Alba connector where the trail runs along the east side of cinder hill rd.It cuts out onto the road in a rt hand corner[if you are going north] to avoid a small hill. This has been a concern of mine for several years because when you are going south, you are on the wrong side of the road in a blind corner.Well, this guy didnt make the corner, and thats how he crashed.Yesterday the DNR [gaylord, they are the good guys] came out with a dozer and knocked the hill down, so the trail stays off the road at this point.Too bad someone had to get hurt to get it done, but we all know about hindsight.

Also, due to the fact that people cant stay out of Kitchen Farms fields, the trail that used to run along the edge of thier field on the south side of Wiesler Farm Rd between Cinder Hill and Bocook rd, is now in Wiesler Farm road. Thanks to everyone who cant stay on a trail when its been said over & over to stay out of the fields this year, and I really hope you all get a ticket next time you are in them.
