Put on about 80 miles today, trailered to upper valley grill trails where in good condition. What little snow we did have the groomer did an excellent job with it.
A couple more good snowfalls and we should be in good shape.

Where are the upper valley grill trails ?

The grill is right on trail 302 just outside of groton state forest, Exit 17 off of interstate 91 follow 302 west into groton on left side about 10 min from exit can't miss it

Went again today same route....figured i get one in before it melts this week :banghead:

Even better than monday cause' the groomer went out monday night..Had freshly groomed trails all to myself..Limited miles but it was worth it :beerchug:

I was over the groomers house today doing some work, alot of people riding thru I can't imagine that the trails are in too good a shape being 50 degrees and some traffic going thru it all day

Went through there today....VERY tender around Buzz's house....Trails are still good in the higher elevations(and beautifully groomed,I might add) :div20: ,but the railbed is taking it hard!!Marshfield end is pretty well done.
A few sketchy spots between the parking lot and rail bed,trails off from rail bed = junk........I'd say its pretty much DONE....at least for now.

I had to give it one last "hurah".......took the G/f ....it was her first time......(riding that is)...........(snowmobiles that is)..... :lol2: We have been waiting all season,figured it was now or never. Put on about 50mi.,but by time I returned ,alot had melted!


Saw 2 Moose though,that was great!

I probably saw u ridin' thru then, buzzy was'nt to optimistic about the remainder of the season, no base to build on even if we get a dumping of snow and alot of water is going to open up with the warm temps. :banghead:
Think i got just under 300 miles this year what a bummer.

Took buzzy's new FST for a blast too, man that thing is fast, 750 turbo lot's of torque.

I was up at my camp this weekend right at the top of 302, 3/10 of a mile past the butterfield lot and i can tell you if we get a good 6 - 8 " the loop will be back up and running i parked in the lot sunday morning, and took a walk there were a couple trailers there, the base is there (although icy)and there was about 2 inches of light fluffy snow.plus its wide and flat so i'm not giving up yet, somthing in me bones tells me march is gonna be wild with these weather patterns ready to clash right over vt!!!! plus buzzy from what i can tell can work miricles from what i've seen so far this yr.(my first up here) which is another story, just sat morning on the way up my fiancee asked me if this was a normal winter up here? :banghead: So i guess i'm optamistic and i'll be wating for the big one!!!!
