Call Stanwood motor sports in Stanwood Michigan. They put their own kits together from parts from Micro-Belmont. Or he can match the other kits if thats what you want. And you can save some money. Micro Belmont cuts their own helix's and use to be one of the largest producer of helix's

Oh one other thing. They use D&D helix's and springs, polaris weights ,Micro's helix's ,Arctic springs ,Black magic springs .etc.... so they cover most of the bases... They are putting a kit together for my 02 ZR 600 efi and my twin piped ZR700...

If you can tune a little, the all out best kit to get is going to be Hammer Time weights from Super Torquer. Drop a tooth on the top sprocket too.

Thanks for the information. I will have to give them a call. I put a clutch kit in my 01 ZR 600 which consisted of M-10 Polaris weights, a 40/60 heilix, and a orange high engagment spring. This is what the local dealer suggested and said they had good luck with. I just do not think it has the pull it should and I do not have the money to purchase several helixes in order to tune properly. I just put a clutch kit in my buddies 02 ZR 600 that he purchased from Black Magic. He has not had a chance to run it yet. Just thought I may be able to save myself some time and money by getting a clutch kit instead of purchasing several tuning parts.
Thanks again.

Hey Big Cat,
I would tend to agree with your assessment of the clutch set-up in your 600, I think that it is too soft to "pull hard" Some of the guys I know and ride with are running Comet A-18 (52.7 gms) or A-23 ( 53.5 gms) with an AC orange/white or some "other" higher engagement spring in the primary and a 55-50 ( I hear that this is the helix in the BM cluth kit) and a red/white spring in the secondary. They seem to run pretty well as my brother has radared 90 in a 1000' on his 02 600EFI.
Hope this helps
Anyone else out there with a "hot set-up for the 600EFI?
Later
Ken

Thanks for the information. The M-10 Polaris weights that I put in the clutch I believe were 54 or 55 gram weights. I had to grind the heal as to allow them to bottom out in the clutch. The factory weights in the clutch are 53 gram. Are the 53 gram weights that you mentioned the stock ones ? Also I have been running the stock secondary spring (yellow). I do have a red and white one in stock, maybe if I place the 53 gram stock weights with the red and white secondary, in addition to the 50/55 helix in the sled I will be closer to what I am looking for.
Thanks again.
