Just got back from pulling a brand new Polaris 600 XC out of the woods.
This one went on an excursion from the road into the wooded area about 10 yards off the road ... driver an additional 10 yards. What a humbling experience. The driver was fine just shook up with a bruised body and ego. Very dumb founded since they still owed on the sled and it will likely be totaled if it goes through insurance. The sled has less than 200 miles on it.

I'd like to add that this was an experienced rider. It was purely a visibility issue as well as excessive speed for the conditions. All I could think about on the way home is how it's amazing that your mind will play trick on you when the snow is falling and visibility is poor. I don't have any pictures, but here is a list of what we could see wrong with it:

Hood scratched up good
Belly pan tweaked and a hole/crack
all 4 radius rods bent/broke
possibly tie rods ?
stearing stem tweaked
right trailing arm tweaked
right shock completely missing (spring was there)
dent in pipe
dent in can

Just wanted to remind everyone to BE SAFE ! :div20:
