Coming out of Big Bay was awesome untill we hit the mountains and where Baraga starts, the grooming had stopped. There is all of 5-6' in the Hurons, but rough! Once we got close to Lanse, all of sudden we crossed a road and hit fresh groomed trail. We passed the groomer on his way back, but why wouldnt they groom all the way up to where 550 stops? I was very dissapointed going through the Hurons with sick snow, sunset, but whooped like a snowcross track for 10 miles. This is the second time I have experienced this up there. Also, where is the sign for Mt Avorn or Avron along the trail? I see it on the map, but didnt see anything off the trail.....

There is a sign for Mt. Avron at the turn you just have to pay attention for it. We were just there this past Thursday.
