Got to pull the heads off a friends T-Cat 900. I need to know the torque specs for the heads befor we start at it tomorrow.

Also are these sleds known for coolant leaks anywhere, can't seem to find his, assuming it could be the head gasket, haven't really dove into it yet, hoping to do it tomorrow night.

Thanks for any help.

If its not overheating and spraying antifreeze out of the bottle, its not the head.... if you cant see any leaks for its using antifreeze, then its the waterpump seals... change the impeller and mech. seal and the oil seal and your problem should go away... unless its leaking out a hose connection somewhere or the counterbalance shaft is worn down to much where the seal sits on... I'm not sure if that shaft can be pulled and replaced without separating the case... but the water pump can be done with the motor in the sled...

15-18 ft/lbs. head bolts... if you pull the heads, I'd put new Orings back in, dont reuse... cheap insurance...
