Looks like our annual February vacation family snowmobile trip to our time share in Island Falls is not going to happen (no snow). Need to find something in the Sinclair, Frenchville, Long Lake area. Need cabin or home, not a hotel room.
Has anyone ever stayed at these places:

St. Froid Lake Cabins
Lakeside Lodge
Linda's Lakeside cabins
Pelletier Island on Long Lake

How are the conditions over your way?

Condtions are pretty good considering. There are water spots to watch out for but they are all marked. The valley heading west is where the most snow is at.

Is the Lakeside Lodge in Sinclair on Long Lake? If so I have stayed there twice. Can't remember the name now. Anyway, if that is the place, I would recomend it. It's a pretty good deal for the price, sleeps alot of people. Kitchen is big, the place used to be a resturaunt. It's right near the lake, post office and gas station. I stayed there a week and didn't use the pickup once. Rode the sled everywhere I needed to go.

That is the place. Wondering if it has an area that would be good for the kids to ride around on their sleds within sight of the cabin?
Is it right on the lake so they could just ride on the lake right out front?

i dont think lakeside has anything for feb. i pulled some phone #s from the store. camp on cross lake 1 queen 2 twins (hot tub) 125.00 a night 3 night min laurie @543-6464 or 316-8844 she was open all month. staying on longlake this weekend right next to lakeside 2 bed w/ fulls a loft w/2fulls on floor and fouton in living room they seem very nice 125.00 @night 650.00 a week. you can try them 667-4134.
