We (my son and I) are going up to Cochrane for 3 days of riding and were wondering if any of you live there or know some of the local secrets. How much snow is there. :fluffy:

Depending on how many miles you want to put on, the loop from Cochrane to Smooth Rock Falls to Timmins and then back to Cochrance is a nice full day trip.

JR's Ribs in Cochrane is the place to eat. Try the honey garlic ribs and fries :div20: .

We always stay at the North Adventure Inn. Indoor storage for your sled, bar, restaurant, hot tub, right on the trail!

Bring cash for the Abitibi Canyon. They do not accept debt cards or credit cards for gas. And be prepared to pay $1.80/liter.

Colquhoun Mountain is a dead end trail off the A trail to an old fire tower. Ride up have a look around and head back down to the A trail.
