I just saw an RCMP advisory about people who list stuff on Ebay and say they are temporarily away in Europe. They then ask for your name and address and other personal info. Almost got caught like that this summer. Don't EVER use Western Union for an ebay transaction either. Ebay does not Recognize them as a way to pay. In most cases the page that looks like an EBay page actually isn't. It can fool anyone but the Ebay Staff. In my situation a girl at Western Union picked up my transaction and called me at my office to inform me that the company didn't want anything to do with the transaction. I'll tip my hat to here anytime. She saved me 5K.
