2003F5
hey guys, after we got 6 inches i hit my new kicker in my field about 10 times. its pretty good but not as big as our other kicker. Its pretty fun to hit though, and once we get more snow i will be able to really launch it. heres a link to the video i threw together. http://www.youtube.com/w/?v=i0qloTgjOQY

Thanks braaap11889 for taping and Shock Tech for making my sled land like a feather.

Tell me what ya think!

thats a good idea using wood... so much easier than shoveling... and you cant wreck it by spinning off it:P(within reason) how tall is the jump? and how fast do you hit it?
thesweeper09
sweet vid nice jump
skidooguy6490
Looks like you land exactly where you wanted to. So i guess those braces we put in held her up good. Ill have to ride over this weekend if we get the weahter there expectin this week.

built out of 3/4 inch ply wood and rough cut 2x4s. its only 3 feet tall, but its on a hill and has a nice lip. i hit it at 25 today, when we get more snow, ill move it back and make the gap bigger and give 'er hell! we have a 4 foot kicker just like that in another field with a landing ramp too. each ramp was only about 80 bucks to build because my dad gave us the 2x4.
braaap11889
Nice editing. What your dad say about it?

Where 2003F5 landed the snow just blew away and there was a very small amount of packed snow. Its hard to tell where he landed sometimes. I can't believe he hit it. I'm not hitting it until we get more snow. Our other ramp definitly throws you alittle higher at a lower speed but not as far.
The nice thing about wood is its light enough for 4 guys to pick up and move around and with enough bracing it should last a long time. WHERE THE HELL IS THE SNOW AND WHATS UP WITH THESE TEMPS?.

snow coming tomarrow braaap, 4-8 inches, now everyone can hit it! gonna be sweeeeett
Dave
Nice work!!! :div20: I'm feeling inspired!! Do you have any pictures of just your ramp?
skidooguy6490

AllVipedUp
Sweet vid! Yeh it looks like you could hit the sucker pretty hard and get some huge air. I wish I had an oportunity to try something like that. Keep us updated, you'll be pulling tricks in no time, if you aren't already that is.
what?trail?

Should make less of a lip and hit it at a fast speed.. Go far!!! Nice though. Looks like the sled took it well..

Ya so much for that. Looks like we only got 2 inches. Well hopefully theres more coming because I wanna hit that sucker but land on snow.

You should have seen it before. The lumbah laucher would lauch you almost straight up but not very far at all definitly would have been sketchy to hit at a speed above 20 mph. 2003f5 cut some of the bottom off makeing the ramp not so steep. Its so hard to make a good lip for distance. Our other ramp is definitly better for distance. Its also longer, studier, wider, higher and heavier. You can hit that sucker at 40+ I hit it at about 25-30mph and so did 2003f5 and ski4lyfe11. The landing was definitly rough since you flat bottom (there was no landing ramp). We built a nice landing ramp thats probably melted away but we made it about 50% out of hay bails.
