What's the difference in Polaris drive belt numbers? Stock on my '97 XC600 is a 3211042 but I've had dealers tell me that I could use 045, 066 or 072 belt instead. How and why is this?

045 closer tolerance belt, 066 has top cogs for better cooling, 072 probably closer tolerance than the 066.
