I've been searching the forums for some carb settings for my '02 700 Classic. Found some guys running 500 jets, some running 480, some running even lower numbers. Figured I'd ask some experts locally as to what they found for the best combination for Manitoba weather for the jets, needle position, air screw settings, fuel adjustment settings etc. My sled seems to be running pretty rich, I had moved the needle down one setting until I did some more reading that suggested I'm running a big risk if it gets colder and I have the needle dropped one position, so I moved the needle back to the #3 position. I'm wondering if I should leave my main and needle setting as it is and adjust the fuel screw to see if that cleans up the rich condition as well as the fuel pig condition. Any tips or links are appreciated.
