I figured I'd distract myself from this week's rain and warm temps by planning a multi-day trip in VT. Ideally, I'd like to leave from Woodford, but I can trailer anywhere.

Has anyone done a multi-day trip? I'd like to do a 4 day loop (5 max) riding inn-to-inn.

Any recommendations or routes to avoid? Is it reasonable to sled from Woodford to NEK, or is it not possible in just 4-5 days. I'd say we'd probably do 6 -7 hours per day by sled. And we don't speed. Often, we're under the speed limit.

i would say that timewise, it is possible to do the trip. 2 days up, stay one day riding around, and come back. i'd say ride from woodford to montpelier, where there are a few hotels (trail map shows 4 or 5). from there continue to NEK. word of caution: if you plan on hitting IP, make sure you get hotel reservations. usually they are booked.



other then that, you will need to wait for more snow. mid part of the state is really hurting... bad.
