If it snows...

Five of us guys are planning a trip to the St. Johnsbury (and north and west of this area) on Feb 7th thru the 12th. We are looking to stay at a lodge or inn type place that has VAST access, serves breakfast and possibly dinner as well. Some B&B's may be considered. Can anyone make any suggestions??? I am presently looking at The Inglenook Lodge. Any and all info and recommendations about this area sent to me via e-mail would be greatly appreciated.

We are riding from here up there,on Feb. 4th if Mother Nature quits PMS'ing lol,, we are staying at the Comfort Inn, in St. J., they offer a continential breakfast, indoor pool and sauna, hot tub, but you gotta travel to get dinner, Vinnie's in Lyndon is a great place to stay as well Motel and Restaurant, and a great place to talk sleds and trails, both places are trail accessable with snow cover,,, I hope this helps, enjoy your trip and think ****SNOW****

I will second Vinnie's (Changing Seasons Motel) Changing Seasons Motel
US Route 5 Lyndonville, VT 05851 802-626-5832It's like $40 a night lounge and GOOD food right there and you can ride right out of the parking lot on a groomed trail. There are a lot of riders stay there but you don't get alot of YaHoo's.

Why thanks Lady and KSZRT! We're planning on going up on Feb 7th! I'm looking at the Comfort Inn and a few others. Thanks for taking the time to reply to my post. Perhaps we should meet for a beverage. ...I'm buying! :beerchug:

Go to Vinny's (hotel is called changing seasons)you won't be disapointed. If you stay elsewhere ypu go there for dinner and drinks. The owner is very involved in Vast and can tell you the best places to ride. I'll be there we can have a drink

Good luck!

Thanks Revved. The group has decided to stay at the Comfort Inn this trip but we will look at other places while we are there for the following trip. We'll make it a point to have dinner at the Changing Season's.
