New to site, hello to all and Thanks in adv-
What do you all think of this one, not listed anymore and can't find info on "seller"-Hello,

Thanks for contacting me about the 2005 YAMAHA RX1 ER. My name is John and currently I am relocated to Italy due to my new job as economic consultant, and, as such, I am forced to sell this sled cheaper in order to sell it quick. Plus the registration fees are very high here in Europe and I don`t have time to ride anymore. The sled is with me here in Italy and I am prepared to take over the shipping charges in order to ease the process. The price of this Yamaha is $2,700 with insured shipping included. My wife works for the local brench at Alitalia and she will help me with shipping. The Yamaha is in perfect condition both mechanically and cosmetically. No damage whatsoever, no scratches or dents, no hidden defects, it is as advertised. It has very little usage, it was babied and very taken care of. The sled was registered in US so you won`t have to pay any other custom charges. Now the title is clear. I am the original owner. In order for both of us to be protected and insured in this international transaction we will make this transaction through ebay. Please let me know your full name and shipping address so I ca contact ebay and set up the transaction.
I am waiting for your response.

Sincerely, John.

Most likely...but ask for specific pictures....say a picture of the rear suspension on the left side of the sled (if you were sitting on it) and things like that. But definately beware cuz it sounds too good to be true. That thing would sell fast for $4,000.

tell him to take a picture of the sled with a shoe on the seat :div20:

Good one on the shoe! Yes to both of your ideas, pics of specific are best bet. Passed up on some goodies in past, wouldn't be able to stop kikin' my own tail if this was a legit deal. I read some forums about excess $ being sent to sellers with money sent back, but did not see anything like this. Thanks in adv

Hey there...

I would only make this transaction via an Escrow service....

I've seen this scam many, many times before...
