A buddy of mine called the Morrey Inn & they said that they will be making a decision this week wether or not they need to cancel the races the weekend of Jan 28th. I sure hope we get that cold weather this week. If any of you have never been to the races in Fairlee on Lake Morrey it is a hell of a good time. You can watch the races from the bar or rip open the sled on the rest of the lake!

Just heard today that the ice was only about 8" to 9" thick and it really doesn't look like the cold is going stick around very long , back into the 30's next week as of what there saying now !

we cancelled the trip for feb 28. so we made plans for march hope it is better then . yeah we go with about 8 friends and have a good time

I hope it's colder by March. 2 years ago they were cancelled in march. And it wasn't as mild of a winter as we've had so far.

Races are cancelled for this weekend at lake morrey. Only 5 weeks before they cancel the ones in March I suppose. :linemup:
