Here is what I know, You must CALL in to register prior to race day absolutely NO registrations on the Sunday. Phoning Marc (204.422.5805) the sooner the better would be great.

- $10 per driver for insurance
- $10 per class
- $10 Bib deposit, money returned when you hand in bib at the end of the day. If you have your own bib please give the number to Marc when you are registering!
- $5 entry fee per person to get into the track.

Basically registration and fees the same as the last few years. Test lane to open around 10:30am, races to hopefully start around 12:00pm or so! :beerchug:

I spoke with Marc and he wasn't 100% sure how he was going to rule this one so I would like to hear what you guys think. '03 xc 700 completely stock engine with the exception of an SLP air box kit and a Tempa-FLow. I'm sure I'll be nothing more than a donation even in the stock 700 rubber class so I don't want to waste my time if I will be bumped to improved because of these two things.

Thanks, Rob.

Uh No,You don't have a stock air box.If they let this go it will just keep going.

IMo the tempa flow is fine. It would be no different than running Doo DPM or a pressure regulator for Cat's EFI.
The SLP air box mod though I am unsure about. Are you tyalking about the air horn from SLP ? The rules as originaly stated above said you must have the stock air box but you can remove air box shelves etc. If it's just the air horn I would say you are fine. If it's an aftermarket air box I would say then that is different.
Anyone else ?

IMO, I would say no to your air box, I believe the rules were intended for STOCK air boxes only, (No SLP kits, D&D power Breathers, etc) with a shelf or horn(s) removed only, but Marc will have to make that call! As far as Tempa Flow, Vari Flow, Dial-a-Jet, etc. I would say that these are okay to use, just the electronic types as stated before.

But like I say Marc will make the final call!!!

Not sure if that was a smart-ass remark or not! Decided no F9 this year waiting till next year, sold F8 kit in September and running a stock 2006 F7 this year!

I guess this is why there will be TECH this year, my sled will be stock and can be checked anytime anywhere. :beerchug:

I'm thinking about it, the next three races out here have been cancelled, there is no snow out here at all. Heading out west for some mountain riding sounds better with this warm weather.
dog700
Thanks for the replies, SLP air horn kit is the stock air box gutted with a bigger opening on top (you can see it in my avatar). Guess I'm out then. Marc told me He wanted to stick to ISR rules. He did not agree with me that they allow complete removal of air box as long as they are replaced with commercially available filters and no redesigned RAM air boxes. There is some grey area here but what ram air means to me is having the intake facing forward. The above was from the ISR update list I believe for '04/'05.

Don't want to be a pain in the ass, Have fun guys.

I was not trying to be a smart ass at all!
It sure doesn't take much to get you going i see?

I was just pointing out all the dialog i have read with you & BMP,it was really interesting that's all.You must know them really well?I like that sticker on the windshield of your sled. :div20:
What happens if you get beat by someone?Do you tell them i just have the sticker and nothing else done to my sled,it's stock?
Can you buy those stickers individually or do you have to buy something else from them to get a Bikeman sticker?

Not pissed at all! I have know Erich for years and he is a good friend. Yes, that sticker does ask alot of questions sometimes (actually all the time) since I had his F8 kit before, but like I said I sold the kit and with living in Calgary now I don't have as much time to play around anymore. That's why the new 2006 F7 stocker this year, just want to get on it and ride it and not worry about anything!

You can get those stickers from Bikeman separately.
Oh Canada

Nope,im not going to make it :banghead:
I have other plans, maybe next year :beerchug:

Im sure they will have enough fast Green F7'S to go around. :div20:

Does anyone know if the pipe mod from Bikeman is noticeable to the naked eye?
My Evil Twin would know, can you tell by measurement of the pipe?
Thanks for any info........ :beerchug:

Why don't you bring your Green F7 and race it, the more sleds the better there will be lots of good competition for you. You obivously know about me and have read all my posts and have something against me and the Bikeman thing or are implying something! Why should I only know about the BMP pipe mod, do a search and find out for yourself.

You can bet most F7 riders know about the pipe mods and whatever and I will be the first to pull off my pipe shield if I win. You can also bet on any winning F6 or F7 will be checked for this as well.

Sounds like someone knows too much about what someone has done. Like they say,"Once a cheater.........." Just remember one more important saying, " Takes one to know one"
It's too bad that last year done in a lot of innocent racers that wanted to get into the fun of what racing is suppose to be. Last year showed everyone the biggest cheaters spend the most money and most of them are looked at a little different now. :no_bashing: Intended

It really has nothing to do with the horsepower. Maybe it should but basically they want the 4 strokers to fit into the proper class based off of horsepower to weight ratio.

ISR has the apex in the 600 class.Power to weight ratio is pretty relevant in a 500' drag. Having said that I'll still bet the 700 class goes Apex 1, 2 and 3 if there are three there.

Yes the ISR has the Apex in the 600 class. They had the RX 1 in the same class. Now the Apex, according to Yammie guys, has dropped a ton of weight and gained 10 poines as well. Yet they still put it in the 600 class.

This is what I dont get. Sure...they may have somewhat the same power:weight ratio..but isn't that calculated in hp:lbs? Now that being said...dosn't a 4-stoke make more torque than a 2-stoke...and when the sled comes off the line and pulls for that XXX amount of distance...isn't cause of torque? Allright track perhaps I'm being a little over zealous on that one. (consider it bullsh1t called, lol.) A well dialed Apex is certainly going to be a contender. Remember the black RX1 in riverton last winter. He red lit in the semis but actually beat that contraversial "F7" that took first in one heat.

Or do you just get a deal on parts because you know them? :beerchug:
