I head of a few guys that traded their's in on a new VK professional and was just wondering:
Can the venture TF break trails in deep snow or is it too heavy. Is it any good at breaking trails and manouvering in the rough?

i've got the same question vk's are hard to find. but they seem to do great.
i know a guy who was riding a 00' venture 500 w/ a 151" track and claims it followed the 700's around just fine. apparently a few other mods had been done. single seat, removal electric start, gearing, etc. it's got 8,000 miles and he'd sell it for $2500
i'm thinking about converting a 01' venture to a 151" which is otherwise stock 500 for backcountry ski access for 2 and the comfort of a tour. no big climbs with the sled but hopefully it get around

I ride a 06 Venture FS and they go in deep snow. For example, I walked off my snowmobile and sunk to my arm pit. Very hard to climb back on sled. Had no camera.Darn. Been doin' lots of trail breakin and have not had a prob.
