How are the low area's? I was thinking about the standard Chitt to Granville loop...but I worry about the valleys. What do you think?

We did the 100 mile loop from the dam through Texas Falls, up to Granville and back down 12 and 112 to Pittsfield last Monday. When we got back there was mud on all the sleds but it was a good ride. With the additional snow this week it can only be a little better. There are open water bars and great stretches. I would rate last Monday's trip a 4 out of 10. The season is too short to wait for perfection.
The Bethel groomer had flattened all the trails and filled holes in his area before last Monday so these were the best trails we rode. I'll be out this weekend.

Sounds good enough for me. I think I'll give it a shot.

Got out on sunday, we left from the dam and boy let me tell you parking was interesting to say the least. trails were ok just had to watch out for the water bars but I think the trails are better now then they were on x-mas eve. thank you chittenden dammers you guys are doing an awsome job with limited snow :div20:

My parents took a ride up to the dam, just to see what people were saying about the trails, and they echoe'd you...couldn't find a place to park - and DIDN"T have the trailer with them....

I was going to head up Saturday, but looking at the forcast, it doesn't look promising.
