anyone had considerable gains with other kits than d&d?? i've got a d&d and just wondering if it's worth the $ to get better results. i'm a big fan of get up and go and not so much into having a sled that's "gone 120!!" on the lake. the kit is definitely better than stock, but the curiousity is killing the cat!

Try the CPR clutch kit.. I have one in my 02 800 EFI and it rocks.. I think the speedwerx setup is similar to.. But I know everyone who has bought CPR is very happy..

I took out a D&D kit and replaced it with a Simons CPR kit. IMO its a much better kit. pulls a lot harder, corner to corner pull is night and day and engagement is smoother than stock. It was kind of pricey but your paying for adjustable weights. hope this helps.

My 800 has the Speedwerx kit. Reasons? TItanium springs and I don't feel like playing with wgts. in the arms to get it spot on.
I would probably go CPR if I wanted to tweak now & then, but those days are over after selling the Thunderkittys so I just ride now.

how's it against the d&d kit. i guess if there isn't noticable diff's, there's no sense in changing if you know what i mean..
