I need some help. I have a 1970 303 Panther I'm restoring. I have noticed in other pictures of these engines, a small cylindrical object with a hose coming from the motor and the other going to the carb. Mine has the hose going directly from the motor to the carb. Is this correct or is the fuel pump missing. I attached a photo of the current setup. Any help would be ap

correct, fuel pump is built into all those old tillotson/walbro''diagphram''carbs(kehien also)(not to mention some old carters),, that is the ''pulse'' hose that makes pump work
