Just have a question that no one seems to answer the same. Thought that someone here should be able to assisst me.

Have a set of triple pipes with stingers..........apparently the loudest ones around..Can anyone tell me what main jets i should use????

A buddy of mine says to run 230 mains( 2 sizes up from the stock 210's). Does this sound right????

If anyone has ran pipes, what jets have you ran???? I'm looking for a little reliability, so don't want to be running too lean. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Thanks!!!

depending on whos pipes they are they will all require diffent jetting..

any marking on them??

HTG / PSI / Decker ??

typically the center pipe has the marking..

you are better off being rich and jetting down as you watch plug color and piston wash to get it dialed in.. clutching will change as well so you need to find out what rpm's the pipes should run at and the mfg should be able to give you both specs..

Well, i found out that they are RPC Racing pipes.......called there today, but the guy was totally dumb-founded.........He said he wouldn't be able to find any specs for this application..........

So far i've received a few different jets to use. But i'll probably have to fine tune it once the pipes are on.

If anyone has an XLT with the 597, and have pipes on, could you please let me know your set up that works????

Any help would be appreciated!!!! :beerchug: :beerchug: :beerchug:

do you have the 34mm or 38mm carbs?? rule of thumb is up four main sizes with pipes and airbox gutted.

Thanks alot, but for now i think i'm going to stay stock......Many local riders have said that it takes alot of fine tuning to get it all to work right. And here the temperature goes from warm to cold in a hurry, which tells me i'd be constantly having to jet up, or foulf plugs, etc.

I like it currently the way it is..................pull the rope and ride. That's good enough for me for now......maybe next season.

Again, thanks for your help!!!!
