Today I rode up to Conover, LandO, Boulder, Bauers Dam and back to Eagle River. North-South trails were rough, the groomer hadn'tbeen down yet and the East-West trails were SWEET!!!!.
Corners on trails were hit & miss depending on trail. We put on about 100 miles. We have enough snow, groomers still getting caught up after the weekend.
I'd rate trails as fair to good.

Hiwatha, did you get snow over the last couple days? I though the whole state was getting this crappy rain and warm weather.

I am glad that someone can get some miles in. I might have to make a trip soon grinning-smiley-023.gif

Thanks for the pics

Also is that Howlers RMK in the back on the first picture? I am looking forward to the trip in Feb and meeting some of you guys and girls

Yes up in northern wi we got snow new years eve. My/parents cottage is in minocqua and there was about 3 inches of ice and really packed snow. Then it snowed about 5-7 inches on new years eve. The trails were shitty by the end of the weekend but its supposed to snow 3-5 inches agian by wensday night. Sooo the trails should be OK to ride this weekend. Really cold weather would help a lot also. Saw some people sink there sleds on a lake by us.

I was up there this past weekend and the trails were good, but were rough due to the traffic.
Once the groomers smooth out the moguls, they should be great again.
They are also forecasting snow this week, so the conditions should only improve in the near future.
Redxcr440 and I are going back up there Jan 13-15.
