Got to the parking lot near Twin Brooks around 8:30am and headed North. Just enough snow but the powerlines were rough and it was clear that the groomers had not been out. Trails stayed pretty bumpy until just past Airport Rd then they flattened out. 7N up towards Jenks was great with plenty of snow. The groomer had definitely rolled through there over the weekend and it showed. Had a quick snack at Jenk's and then headed back with a quick detour on 100A over to Somerset Reservoir. All singletrack to the res. with lots of mudholes but fun anyway. Back near Woodford (about 1pm now) and the trails were beat from the moderate traffic. I was glad to see the car at 2pm after a quick and expensive lunch at Twin Brooks.

They definitely need more snow and there's very little base. Some really cold temps will help too. There should be decent riding there as long as it doesn't warm up too much. Here's a couple of pics. Thanks to Krellheat for joining us on our trip.

All three F7's (2 04's and 1 05) ran great!

Was the tree cleared up on & 7N right above from where the Hot Dog wagon usally is?

It was down blocking the trail Sunday afternoon when I went up through.

Tree was gone. Wouldn't even know it was there.

2 groomers were heading north around 9 pm last night, one went up 7 and the other up 7a and then both must have went up towards Jenk's because we never saw then again.
They were doing a great job too, most of the water bars were covered and they were cutting down the tree limbs along the way. My hat is off to them.
We parked at Twin Brooks and a group of guys told us to go home unless we liked the bumps, when we hit the trail, there were fresh groomer tracks, so we lucked out.
