The M10 Ace allows the rider to adjust the suspension on the fly. What speed limit do you have to reach in order for it to work properly?

I"m also noticing that when I press the button to "firm" up the suspension, it doesn't pump up to the firm position. dunno.gif However when I hit the button to "soften", it works fine.

Do I have to totally go soft on the suspension setting for it to pump back up into the firm range or should I be able to just go from soft to firm with no problems??

I hope I've explained my problem well enough. Please help...

The ACE M-10 will start to work at approximetly 4000 rpm, not according to speed. It will or should adj. to the firm setting from any position and not have to go to soft first. If you hold the button in the up position for more than 5 seconds, it should go to full firm and visa-versa for soft. By pushing the button one, two, or more times it moves in that increment to soften or firm it in between the soft and firm range.

OK I did a check on the M10 ACE tonight. I put my sled up on a track stand and let it run at 4000 rpm and the meter goes up a slight bit, then falls back down to where it was sitting orginally. I held the button down for a good length of time and it keeps doing this with no adjustment towrds "firm"....What's up... dunno.gif

ive never tried to do it on a stand, but its not instantanious i know that. to go from real low to highest takes about 1/4 running at good speed

The only other thing to do is next time out riding, I'll take it on a run where I'll have the time to hit the button at a good speed and hoepfully it will work. Trying to concentrate on pushing that button takes away some of your concentration on the trails if you know what I mean....

I had a problem in the wiring harness of my M-10 ACE last year. The motor wasn't getting the commands, so it didn't adjust. Replaced the wiring harness and everything went back to working properly.

Good luck with this.

Were you able to do this yourself?

I would say you have a wring prolem too, maybe a voltage problem. check the harness is plugged in. There is also an independent (stater?) box for the ACE which might be bad. Also, if you have done any track work, it is possible the wiring harness was put bak together properly. I've been using the ACE for a couple of years and the above comments are accurate. Good luck.

I followed the wire that's attached to the skid all the way back to the little black box just behind the left console and everything looks plugged in.

Where is this wiring harness you're talking about? I have a voltage tester if you can point me in the right direction. Thanks for your help.
