anyone ridden this area? how many miles can we go around that area? any gas or restaurants close by?
PA Viper
See my post a bit further down titled "First day PA". I covered Michaux there. I'm sure if you hit all the available trails/joint use roads you could pull 100 miles or more easily. Joint use roads are decent but a few of the "connector trails" are shared with atvs which means ROCKEY. This is just one or two short trails that get you from the parking lot to the main trails on the other side of Rt 233. Everything else is pretty good. No gas or chow that you can ride into, but there are places within a few minutes drive. Not a bad area for this far south. The Big Flat parking area can be full, but you still won't run into very many people on the trails. Good variety with some real tight twisty stuff and some longer straights where you can open it up a little. We like it because it's 30 min. from home. :div20:
