This a low fat recipe I use for bodybuilding...its very tasty
Apricut Chicken
1 cup good-quality low sugar apricut jam(the chunkier the better)
3/4 cup bottled low fat calorie wise Russian or Catalina dressing
1 envelope low sodium dry onion soup mix
6-8 skinless, boneless skinless chicken breasts
If you don't care about waistlines use regualr apricot jam/onion soup mix and dressing...serve with rice....awesome meal
Protein Pancake
2 scoops chocolate protein powder
1 250ml carton egg whites
2 cups uncooked oats
Blend it,cook it eat it
Chicken Pesto
Cut up chicken breast
Stir fry with Low Sodium chicken broth
add a tbsp of pesto or El Paso fajhita Mix
Put on whole wheat tortilla bread
Top with veg, and salsa.
Healthy hints
Use salsa on baked potatoes
Eat sweet potato--------Slice up sweet potato in wedges sprinkle with spices bake in the oven...great alternative to fries.
Rice Cakes----1 tbsp unsalted peanut butter
Rice chips
Hummus---loaded with good stuff especially chick peas
