My neighbor has a 96 MXZ 670 and wants me to replace the track on it for him. He has a line on a 1.375 for a good price, but doesn't know whether it will fit. The sled is in another town, and I have not seen whether it will clear. Me being a Cat guy, I have no knowledge on this year of sled...other than they used to kick my ass back in the day! If possible, let me know what the max height is for it without too much modification.

I'm not sure about the 1.375 track,but a 1.25 track should fit ,but you'll have to lose the top track support wheels (or get smaller ones) , you may have clearance issues in the bulhead area as well.....

i have a 1.25 track in my 97 mxz and theres isnt enough room for picks so i dont think a 1.375 track would clear
