One of my riding partners has a 03(i think) 500 Grand touring, and after a good days ride the leftover heat from the exchangers seems to melt leftover snow and turn it to ice, which jams up the track and tunnel the next day.
We have no heated place to put it when at his cottage and getting it all out in the morning is a pain and you can never remove enough the night before to prevent this.
Ideas? suggestions?
Thanks, Todd

We use a big kerosene forced air heater up at the cabin. Five minutes blowing under the tunnel will completely thaw it out on the coldest mornings. Makes greasing the suspension easy too as all the old grease and water in the joints is warmed and the new grease pushes it all out. two more minutes blowing in the engine compartments makes starting easier too.
