i sent in for my registration over 2 weeks ago, how long does it usually take to get the stickers? thanks

depends I have had it go as long as 3 months, luckily I got temporary's from the dealer

how do u get temporaries from a dealer? do you have to pay them something? thanks.

When they filled out the paperwork for the registration on my sled they gave me 90 day temporary stickers. That was the first week of December and I think it was the last week of February when I got the stuff in the mail. Did you make copies of the paperwork that you sent in? Always a good idea and you could carry that stuff with you in case you were stopped you would have some good reasoning why you don't have new stickers on your sled. If it was a renewal that you applied for they seem to come quicker, but the new registrations take some time.

Have all of your paperwork with you and if you have the cancelled check have that with you to. It only takes a phone call (mon-fri) for the officer to check the status. You may want to go to a licensing agent next time.
