I'm in need of some info on whether i can swap a mid 80's crank case for my cracked 91' and reuse the crank and cylinders. did the motor change from a 480 to a 485 in the early 90's?
the crank from the 91 has been inspected and is in good condition, i've had it flushed and cleaned and plan to use it as is. :beerchug: the bottom of the 91 case is cracked and i can have it welded for $50- or I can buy a 84' case in good condition for about $100.
Any thoughts or concerns are appreciated!
