Hi, Im new here, but Im trying to decide what to do. I have a 1993 XLT Special. Now heres the issue, I had the motor rebuilt, it was bored out to a 617, 2mm overbore, has SLP heads which have been opened up to fit the new cylinders, PSI Pipes, XTRA 10 rear suspension, fox shocks that have been rebuilt in front and back, excellent condition cowl, SLP ultralight skis, Nosecone radiator and other misc extras, now the problem. The crank was all redone new bearings, shims and spacers. I got about 400 miles on the motor and the outter crank bearing has started to go again. I was wondering what kind of interest would be in the parts if I was to part it out the entire sled.

If anyone is interested in parts let me know and if there is enough interest Ill start to part it out.

Thanks in advance and sorry for the long post.

But email me for any needed parts and first come first serve.

Im going to be parting some of it out, but I am going to keep the track, it is too nice and will fit on my current sled. Thanks for the inquiry though.

I parted one out on E-bay. Disassemble the engine and sell crank, cases, and block separately and you will do almost as well on parts as a running used engine on there. Use the money to pick up a good used engine and run the sled.

When modding these old XLT's it was known that another hole needed to be drilled to get oil into the crank to lubricate that bearing. Stock they do fine, but modded they needed more lube.
