Doing any good? I only ice fished once this year and I got 17 fish.

Brought my son out a couple times in November and he pulled out 5 one day while I pulled out one. He's a natural at it at 5 years of age, I never really did real good at it.

17" Black crappie Picture doesn't do it justice. That is a 5 gallon bucket next to it.

I've only been up once since the lake froze. Hopefully the 'eyes will still be biting.

How are you guys in Minnesota finding ice conditions after this warm up?

I just got back from our cabin near Emily. 10" on the lake. nice clear ice.

I ran up yesterday for the day. Only about 9" (10 at most) of ice on our bay with a little slush. Usually well over a foot by now. Fishing was very slow too :sleep3:
