On my friends sled, a 2000 MXZX 440, we are trying to hook up some handwarmers becase it did not have any on it. We have tried to find a 12 volt source to run them off of but have come up with nothign yet. We have looked all over. So if anyone could tell us where we could find all the wires need to hook this up that would be great. We need wires for the power and for the ground source. Also, if anyone has an electrical schematic or knows where to find one that would be awesome too.
Thanks
David

headlight wire should be a reliable 12v source. thats where i got mine for my... bravo, and my sport 440. the chassis will be a good ground. Ring terminal and a bolt somewhere on the frame.

No one else has any other thoughts on this?? There are a whole bunch of plugs and wires under the hood that go to no where. One of these has to have power, which ones???

There should be an existing two prong plug behind the stearing shaft under hood. If memory serves me correct it is grey in color. Just get your test light out and see which is hot.

I think we have it figured out. Before we were testing for 12V DC current, but now we realize it is 12V AC current. So finding our wires shoudlnt be too bad. We will be doing it later tonight.
Thanks for the help.
