I tape recorded the shootout and the mach z came in first with a 1/4 mile speed of 100.2mph, Polaris Fusion 900 2nd at 95.5 mph, arctic cat zr 900 3rd and yamaha apex came in last. these were the results of stock sleds dealer prepped. I missed the first round of runs, but these are the results to the best of my knowlege of the dealer prep runs.

Well, your post fly in the face of the many that claimed dealer prepped Yamaha had the lowest ET, which means FIRST.

Dont forget the ZR 900 had the lowest ET and best MPH of the STOCK big-bores.
IMO, the Dealer improved results dont really matter to me.
The Apex got the lowest ET of the Dealer improved and the Mach won the MPH.
As for the 600s, I dont know who won those...

I guess you left too early too, at the end of the day they added some trail moguls to the drag strip and all the guys on triples lost thier teeth fillings and lower vertabre. Thank you trail moguls for keeping the twin alive!
Just kidding of course, I love the sound and power of a triple, but lets face it.....our trail system does not support that type of sled for comfortable riding. You should know where you live...that might be the worst trail on tug hill! If I lived in canada I would have an SRX, T-CAT, or XCR. But I live in mogul capitol usa, so the new race is how fast can you make a lightwieght, rider forward, long travel sled go in 1000ft +

No actually I am the exact opposite. I love the moguls, on the right equipment. I raced motorcross for 12 years, and I waited a long time for sled to have the technology of a MX bike so they could be ridden at great speeds through the big bumps.
Making a point that I LIKED triples, but for our trail system there is something better. I would tear your ass up on the trails for sure no matter what I was riding, but with my twin against your lead sled xcr it would just be down right embarrassing for you. Sorry, that is just the facts.....and you struck first.
BTW, the proper spelling for triple is T R I P L E, not tripple.....at first I thouhgt it was just your screen name, but I see that you spell it like that everywhere. Thought I would try and save you some embarrassment, your mouth gets you in enough trouble.
