Boy that would be a good ride. You will have to start south of Edwardsburg to ride to sister lakes. You can't get there from the Buffalo run due to the river...

FYI...there is a section of the trail coming in from the south to Allegan that is closed till Jan 1, because of landowner that hunts muzzleloader...it's just past Timber Ridge Ski slopes...

If you try it...becareful, there's someone from michigan section bitching pretty hard about guys trying to get around it, a few days back. Wife and I ran into year before last and it's not something easy to go around(we didn't), it's gated. I would suggest just riding edwardsburg or niles...my $.02

ALLEGAN is huge trouble, many eyes, all connected, all related...can be done though....but LICKINOUTATHECATSDISH is right on there.....that dude is serious enough to contact the state and get a TRAIL SHUT DOWN for 15 days into a season...imagine if we did that in the spring...EVERYBODY WOULD BE WATCHING YOU! be careful rebel ski walker :div20:

I ended up riding north to Hartford on to South Haven. I then rode blue star hiway 2.5 miles and jumped on the Kal-Haven trail to Timber Ridge and got to the place where the trail is closed until Jan 1. I respect the landowners and was only joking with my previous coment about body armor. The landowner did have a detour written on his sign about going around. Instead we turned around and headed back south through Lawton (had lunch at D Coy Ducks) then stopped at Glenwood (closed) and returned back to my cottage by 1:45pm (168) miles.
Great Day (except the 8 miles I rode my buddies Pro X)
