for some reason, i always end up getting an enticer, whether free, or really cheap, i never find any other cheap old sleds like i do the enticers.. anyone know why lol. I always end up with the ugliest ones, but they are like bulletproof.. pics of the the 2 i have owned.. sold the red one last year, and somehow i ended up with the blue one this year. dumb post, but i was just wondering if anyone else has any other enticers that look rough but run mint lol

I just picked one up for my kids for $500. It's a 1980 250. Real clean and the seat appears to be a little more comfortable than the one on the blue machine dunno.gif

It would be cool to find a SRX from that era, what a rocket those sleds
were.

wheeltrax,
I wish I could find Enticers around here! All I find in my area are mostly early 70's Arctic Cats.
It really doesn't matter to me what older sled I get but it would be nice to get a couple different ones from different manufacturers. One good thing about getting the same sled, after awhile you start to learn a lot about that one sled!

a 1996 570 would have been an exiter not an enticer and would have looked like a phazer exept with a liquid motor. 400$ is a really good deal.

1993 was the last year exciter was made so if you buy it you better check the paperwork on it . Ken.

My neighbor has a 77 440SRX that was iced raced during the 80's, it's mint, 77 was said to be the fastest and he has the trophys to prove it, his brother use to have a 76SRX 340 both sleds were hard to beat.

I got this pic last night,,, 76 SRX 340 Canadian version, wasn't many around, his brothers 77 - 440 is in the same shape.
trouble follows
my buddie just picked up the same style srx as that one above for 75$. Its a basket case, needs a total rebuild (crank berings, pistons, jugs) and the chassie she aint pritty
he blew his summit up so hes trading the srx motor for a local mech to fix it

Most were oval raced and were wrecked, this one and the 440 were drag raced and never trail drove, so they stayed mint, this sled is still like this and he wants to track it down and get it back, I am trying to get a pic of the 440,I will post it when I do.

Jusy out of curiousity, What kind of top speeds have people seen with an Enticer 250? I was stunned when I clock my son at 62mph. I clocked him many times on a smooth lake run with the speedo on my sled. I did bring the GPS for the trip but forgot it in the truck :banghead:
