I picked up a 03 zr 900 Friday (5500 miles) on it,,I retired my 95 ZR 700 after 12,878 miles and a busted crank, so it was time to upgrade, this zr is stock jeting, clutching etc, I bought it in canada from a guy who blew his back this summer, and called it quits for selding ,, only 52 ,,nice guy,,, anyways he did give me in a box some kind of drag racing clutch kit, the owner said it came from a company called cpr ?? one of the springs is broken (red/black) I'm thinking of installing this clutch kit,would it work with the purple one in the drive clutch?? or should I just leave the stock clutching in,I know this seld will outrun my old ZR, but my neighbor has a brand new fusion 900, and I just want to make sure I can keep up to him on the lakes, any help would be very appreciated with clutching or jetting .. thank you

stock u will smoke him on the lake as far as the clutch kit they make great improvments to sleds gave me alot more get up off the line

You should contact CPR directly for replacement parts.

www.simonscpr.com Phone #414-698-6611, ask for Jeff ,great guy, knows his setups for 03 zr900 , get a new Black/rd spring, kit will not work well with stock purple, this is not just a drag kit, its excellent in the trails (backshifting is awesome) arctics Orange/white would be the closest to that spring as far as tension, good luck :div20:
