I have a 1970 panther with the 399 kohler and walbro carb. It was my grandfathers. I was able to get it when the farm was auctioned. I was also able to get the 1 piece snow suite, the furry helment, ski mask , gloves , snowmobile cover and dolly. This is the one toy my wife NEVER complains about. I learned how to ride on it and so has both of my kids. It is in orginal great condition and runs strong. I just have to rebuild that goofy wolbro cab every year.

BudMan
My newest addition 1981 John Deere Spitfire My boy who is 8 will be driving her this winter. I have a total of $220 in and she runs great.

I have a 1976 Olympic that runs better than the day it did when it left the showroom, I actually prefer that on days with a groomed trail (bogie susp + long day = bad back) :banghead: . Next to it are two x '69 Oly that may run again; they only need carb work, well they need carbs  . There is a 3rd 69 that needs a lot more than a carb work. I am the third generation to have these.

1980 john deere liquifire 440 restored and modded its a great sled.
1996XLT
1973 Arctic cat panther 340 with a fan cooled Kawasaki twin. was already "restored" when i got it but it was pretty fun. Bought it for 250 and sold for 300 around a year later. I think i had more fun in the grass with it than in the snow. Also won an empithy award basicaly at the Kasson sled and car show. Best trail sled. (only trail sled) o well i got a trophy

trailblazers
We are the proud owners of a pair...yes...2 Evinrude rotary engine 1974 TrailBlazers. My folks bought them new in Eagle River in '74.

They are in dire need of some repairs...however finding parts has proven to be a challenge. dunno.gif Any help would be greatly appreciated. Immediately we need a replacement drive sproket (I think that's what it is...the nylon gear...one of them split and came off.)

We love these beauties...mom and dad's names are still on them..Len and Nita...that's how we refer to them. We want to keep them running...they are really such nice machines.

thanks...lynnann

1977 Arctic Cat Lynx 2000-T/292cc Twin!

It was my first sled.  I will never sell it!  I have never had a single problem with the sled other than changing the track on it.  I have plans of restoring it someday..... buttrock.gif

i just sold mine, waaaay too cheap i might add.
definately regret it. that little 275 was awesome for blasting around the yard on one knee for a loong time  definately restore it and paint it up nice, i saw mine after i sold it and the guy cleaned it up- looks awesome now.

i still have my '80 Yamaha Enticer 340 though, still ride it on occasion. runs perfect, original black paint is mint, probably has somewhere in the neighborhood of 5,500 miles on it and still runs/rides like a champ... that thing is staying around for a LONG time to come :drunk:

I just Picked up a 1974 Lynx 1 292 in very good condition, it came with stock cover and owners manual. It has not been run since 1991 and has been stored in a garage all those years and best of all it was free! I will have to polish it up and then take photos of it and post them, could someone tell me if this sled has any dollar value?
