I used to have this 1972 (i think) Ski-doo Olympic it was so sweet, one ski free floated, so we tied rope from the other ski to it one in the front one in the back.
Also had a 1979 (I think) Polaris 440, Totaled it when i was like 6, Ran into the house. I told every one the throttle stuck

I currently have a 1974 Sno-Jet Thunderjet 340 FA which is in fairly good condition considering it spent 15 years in a chicken coop before I found it. Its amazing how small these were and every thing else made back then in an effort to keep them light. These have short aluminum skis which love to snap off tips.

One I picked up from a buddy yesterday. Looks to be all original, just needs a good cleaning. It's a 1971 Bolens Spring 293. Drove all the way up north to get it and come to find out it was originally sold by a dealer that is less than a mile from my house.

I like the Bolens, nice for it's day having the carb pointing up so the oil and gas spit back wasn't so likely to get on you. Big problem was snow getting in there if you stopped for lunch some place when it was snowing good. Guess one learned to carry some type of cover for the carb.

A buddy of mine used to have an old massey ferguson sled, had a 400 jlo in it. That sled also had the carb tipped up like that. Too bad he didn't loctite or use a lockwasher when he put his w/shield on. Yep at a piston when the nut came off and went right down the carb. LOL. Kevin
