A freind of mine has a 96 F3 600 and it continually fowls plugs. A different cylinder every time especially at warm up. The carbs are clean and sinked properly and so are chokes. He has BR9EYA plugs in it also. It will occassionaly backfire to, could this be the stator and how do you check it? thanx....

Had the same problem with my 98 F3 fouling plugs steady brought to my dealer and he showed me a cracked stator get it checked out by a dealer hope this helped
