these sleds are pretty much groomed trail specific i have had it off trail and breaking trail and it did really well but it was only about 2 ft of snow at best ... if mountain riding, ditchriping, or high hp is your primary style this isnt the sled for you with only 110 hp this sled shines in the 30 - 70 mph range on groomed trails ... it will top out around 95 mph but needs a runway to get there and as for the weight...yeah its heavy but if you re riding you wont notice it and once its stuck they are all heavy ...i personally have only had it really stuck about twice all the other times it was just a matter of clearing the snow out from under the running boards and i was back on my way
if you can ever try one out i highly reccommend it but before buying one need to really figure out if it is right for your riding style

What about out of the corners on the trail as I've heard about the turbo lag time? Thanks....

never really noticed any problem with it

The turbo lag is kinda fun at first, it is just like the surge you get when your variable exhaust system opens when you hit the gas at a moderate trail speed, but 10X stronger. Also, once you adapt to the different way of riding it (yes you will ride these differently, but not position, you change the riding style of your thumb on the throttle - especially when cornering) you will almost never notice the turbo lag. You end up riding with the RPMs high enough that the turbo is always spinning fast enough to make power.

A somewhat modded 2004 T660 2-up (non turbo) for nongroomed trails:
Mods include: change handlebars to hooked firecat style, added 6 inch riser, 45 degree helix, increase clutch weights by 3 grams, 102? studs, hi-lo light mod.
Could use a deeper lug track for better traction on virgin trails. Sled slowly evolving into a mountain goat.
Handlebar upgrade improved handling and control--no more roll-overs.

here is my schools 4 stroke. It was our competition sled last year for the CLean Snowmobile Challange. I was the head of the team for the past 3 years before graduating. We placed second nationally in 05. It has 2 catalytic converters as well as two mufflers. on in the stock location and one integrated into the tunnel with the outlet aiming forwards under the tunnel. We were the quietest sled there and managed to clean up the emisions 80% over a stock t660 turbo. I just thought you guys might like to see a different looking t660.

Bearcat SnoPro Turbo Articulating Sport Utility Super Trick Track Humongo GT Fire Burnout Earthmover Deluxe has a delayed delivery problem. Delivery now is not expected until after Turkey Day. I think it is scheduled to leave Thief River Falls on November 27th. Something to do with the oversized turbo and "special" SnoPro ECM.
Don't you worry though big boy...pictures WILL be here. :fluffy:

Here's a couple of T660's the trail was mine and the Touring is my brothers, sold my Trail to my sister last year with 7,500 miles on it, good sled only problem I had was the engine torque stop which caused a couple of crushed jackshaft bearings.
