I have been posting these in the most used state/province forums, hoping to see clubs get exposure, help, and hopefully to see them TALK about issues unique to them.
PLEASE post any and all Alaska club links! Check some other state / province forums to see how others are doing the same thing! The more we connect, the better it is for snowmobiling! :beerchug:

I see you listed as riding a 600 RMK. I have 1 also, it is a 600. Most folks have 700 or bigger. What do you think of the 600 vs the 700 ??

suits me just fine. i bought two brand new ones in 03, a 700 and a 600. the 7 was mine, and the 6 was for the wife. well after one season/broken arm. the 700 gets stolen on christmas day. been riding the 600 to get by.
i like the weight difference so much, i dont think i'll be riding a big bore anytime soon. i also hear this years 6 is even more powerfull.

A good running 700 is a wonderful machine. Have you changed the 600 any, like a can or aftermarket shocks? I have a 2000 600, bought it use with only 300 mile on it, and it goes whereever I point it and seems to have of plenty of power

no mods other than the big air horn kit, and jetting. i also came up with a choke relocation 'kit' totally custom, yo!!
i would like to have a can, but my 4x4 gets all my money. the way i see it, i think ill keep this thing pretty stock so it will last for a long time.
i went riding earlier this winter with a few buddies and their 'mod' sleds, and every one broke down. blown engines and such.
here is another cool link i like.

What kind of changes did you make to the jetting?? How are the results? That is a good sight for the 4X4 club. Looks like an active group

if i remember correctly, i just went up one size, then re-did it again for elevation at arcticman. cant remember what are in there now. seems to run pretty good, with the limiter strap down, it'll pull the skiis off the ground a little.
