Our snowmobile club here in Reading , just held it's elections for club officers and not only did we make our quorum of 8, but actually had members volunteering for positions. Only a short time ago I had painted a gloomy picture for the future of the Little Ascutney snowmobile club as I had ran out of willing officers and the desire to continue running this club with only a few diehards. All positions are now filled and most are by young members . I didn't think that we were going to be able to inject new blood into our club . I guess this time the light at the end of the tunnel isn't the train . And by the way , the bad section of steep hill that most people suffered on in So. Reading just below the town garage parking lot , has been rerouted. SORRY ABOUT THE TRAIL LAST YEAR , BUT IT WAS THE ONLY CHOICE WE HAD, THAT OR TRAVEL THE ROAD :div20:

yeah i know him. he's an old time vermonter--pretty neat fella for sure. i know he was getting a little discouraged with others lack of participation also. glad to see things getting back on track.
