does anyone know if the can purchased seperatly is the same as the can that comes w/ the pipe?? And can you order the pipe seperately after?
Alleycat35
Yep, It's the same. They sell them seperatly or together.

Cool, you wouldn't happen to know the price would you?? of just the pipe, and this wouldn'y happen to be the pipe that works with stock can?

I am not so sure the can only will work with there pipe.... I had a slp can that was designed to work with a stock pipe, that fit like chit so I set it back , I also tryed it with a HSP pipe it also fit like Chit.... so I ended up getting a compleat SLP single pipe, Y , and can kit ... That fits nice , no issues with running close to anything ! Sound is slightly louder then OEM but quieter then most aftermarket cans so you should have no problems with greenies !

whoa guys your wrong....the slp can that comes with the pipe is way different than the can the fits up to the stock pipe.....but you can buy a slp single pipe that fits to the stock can theres alot of options........i was going to try an fit a mbrp can that fit the stock pipe on my slp pipe that came with a can.....the pipe sat 2 inches higher and 2 inches longer..........wow, what i just wrote was really confusing i hope you understand

The SLP can for the stock pipe is NOT the same as the can for the SLP pipe.

The cans do however sound similar, which is a nice raspy growl while on the pipe and pretty much identical to stock at idle and low speed.

The difference in the two cans is due to the pipe routing and shape of the stocker vs the SLP. I suspect they are identical internally.

Either is a great setup, one of the few acceptable for trail use in my opinion.
