Got my new SNOWEST today, and lo and behold, your tip on siliconing the exhaust springs made their "Rider Tips" section. Its on page 42, November edition.

as far as the silicone, yes it does prevent bad vibes, keeps the springs "cushioned" from that crazy harmonic vibration, I noticed many racers doing it, and I have always done it since my early snowmobile days, cheap and easy insurance,
cool beans, and no charge for the autographs!
