Ride the northern trials (or whats left of them) a couple of times a year when I get back to the area, although will probably spend some time exploring the Main C4 corridor over the holidays

You might be able to take C5B up through Cato or C4 up through Marion, although I am not sure if C4 continues south through Palmyra - C4 and C5B merge in the Fair Haven/Hannibal Area and I am sure there are tons of trails that hook you up through Oswego County

I'm from the Marion/Williamson area. Getting past the Erie Canal in Palmyra is tough. I know some guys from Palmyra that pretty much ride south of the canal only. If they want to ride north, into Williamson and east, they would trailer to my place and unload, or up to Wolcott. I know you can trailer to the Burger King (Williamson, just east of Rt 104 & Rt 21) but I'm not sure if you can leave you truck & trailer over night.
But yeah, once in Marion or Williamson, it's easy to get out to Fair Haven. Let me know if you have any questions..

My understanding @ our last meeting was that C4 is picked up in Port Gibson this yr by Lehigh Vally Snow Riders. You will have to cross the steel deck bridge (which alot of us will not be doing). The old way out of Newark towards Clifton Springs is NOT A TRAIL ANYMORE! There are alot of pissed off land owners out this way that will not give us permission because everyone still rode their land last yr !! This yr one landowner has burried 8" poles in the old trail. So if your wanting to go from East Pal to Honeoye that is your canal crossing!!

I grew up in Williamson graduating in 1991. We live here now after 6 years in the Navy. I know the snowmobile trails well. I groom for the driftriders too.
Been riding since 5. I have ridden from Williamson to tug hill and old forge many times. On a good day it takes about 8 hrs to Montague. Old forge is a bit longer, just a different route.
I know most trails by the lake heading east to fulton, fairhaven, wolcott, etc.
