Ok fellas, Im thinking of buying a pro x 700. I've heard they ride a bit stiff. I haven't had an opportunity to ride one yet. I'm 300 lbs in my birthday suit so there isn't too many suspensions I can't soften up. I'm coming off a 2000 XC700SP, I had to put the heavier springs in that. Would I have to do the same with the Pro X or does it already have heavier springs? dunno.gif

Ride it, you will be fine. I am 225 suited up and I like mine. You may have to turn the compression up and the spring up a bit.

I am alos 300lbs. I loved the way my '04 Pro X 800 rode. It will be fine.

good chance all you will have to do is set the clickers on 5 and turn the stock springs up to there highest setting . the shocks are very sensitive to how much pressure is in them , if the back of the sled seems to drag ass the shocks may need are charge. My 2003 got that way at the end of last season.
