Is this common up North? If this is true why? Is it because the cables ice up at minus 400 degrees?
The sled is a MXZ 380 fan

Not sure about that, but since injection oil tends to thicken in severe cold weather, I've seen people premixing gas/oil and not use the oil reservoir, insurance that the engine is always getting lubrication.

OK, that makes sense. The injector cable on my sled leading to the oil pump has a very suspicious clean cut on to it. And maybe this is why.

i never had any problems with my oil injector cable freezing up before but in really cold weather i premix my gas just to be on the safe side,like what they say better safe then sorry. i just put in 1/2 a quart to 5 gallons.

Do you guys think I should convert it back to oil injection? and go buy the throttle cable? Or run her premixed?

check to see if your oil pump is in good running order then go with oil injection :beerchug:

premix the gas berfore feeding your machine is the best for her and your wallet
its to expensive up north to take un necessary chances
